Article Submission
- Article Proposal due: Your proposal should consist of three parts: 1) the introductory paragraph to your article, 2) a brief structural outline detailing the main points you plan to cover and what order they will be addressed, 3) a list of sources you will be using. Please submit your proposal as a Word attachment or text message to studentnews@iuhs-isa.org. We will notify you one week from submission date whether your proposal was accepted, rejected, or needs to be modified. If your article proposal is accepted, you will be paired one-on-one with an associate editor for the remainder of the writing process.
- Rough Draft due: You should have submitted a completed or almost complete rough draft to your associate editor. This is a key step in the writing process and allows you to receive valuable input from your associate editor on how to improve your article.
- Final Draft due: Your final draft should include a title, finalized text, graphics with captions and citations, subheadings, a complete list of references in the proper format, and a one line biography about yourself.
