Do I need Transportation?
- If you live within walking distance of school it is not necessary to have a car. But, if you live on the popular atlantic side of the island, having a car would be indispensible. With over
a 1000 students on the island from two medical schools and Ross Univeristy Veterinary School, there are plenty of cars for sale. Cars range in price from $500 to $6000 U.S.
- If you live in Frigate Bay (Atlantic side of island), it is only a five minute drive from home to school.
- You are required to have a driving license if you decide to drive a car. A visit to the local firedepartment, with your U.S. license and $50 will qualify you for a St. Kitts drivers license.
